Job Responsibilities

• Focal for monitoring and ensuring compliance with Data Privacy regulations within the region 1. Develop and Implement Compliance Strategy: \xc2\xb7 Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program that aligns with legal and regulatory requirements and supports the organization\'s objectives. \xc2\xb7 Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. \xc2\xb7 Establish policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance. \xc2\xb7 Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, and communicate relevant updates to the organization. 2. Monitor and Assess Compliance: \xc2\xb7 Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement. \xc2\xb7 Implement monitoring and reporting systems to ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Analyse data and trends to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. 3. Provide Compliance Guidance and Training: \xc2\xb7 Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance-related matters and provide guidance to employees at all levels. \xc2\xb7 Develop and deliver compliance training programs to increase awareness and understanding of compliance requirements. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other departments to embed compliance into their processes and procedures. 4. Foster a Culture of Ethics and Integrity: \xc2\xb7 Promote a strong culture of ethics and integrity throughout the organization. \xc2\xb7 Encourage open communication channels for reporting potential compliance violations or concerns. \xc2\xb7 Investigate reported compliance incidents, initiate appropriate corrective actions, and ensure non-retaliation. 5. Engage with Regulatory Bodies and Stakeholders: \xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. \xc2\xb7 Represent the organization during regulatory inspections, audits, and investigations. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance-related queries and concerns.

Required Skills / Knowledge

• \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in business, law, or a related field. A master\'s degree or professional certification in compliance is preferred. \xc2\xb7 Proven significant experience in a compliance or regulatory role, with a focus on developing and implementing compliance programs. \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the organization. \xc2\xb7 Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide practical solutions. \xc2\xb7 Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. \xc2\xb7 Sound ethical judgment and integrity.
