Develop and lead the compliance strategy, framework, and policies.
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes relevant to the industry and ensure the business remains compliant.
Design and conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
Liaise with regulators, legal counsel, auditors, and internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
Conduct training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of compliance obligations.
Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including whistleblower reports and regulatory breaches.
Maintain records and reports required by regulatory bodies.
Report to senior management and the board on compliance risks and progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's or Juris Doctor preferred).
Professional certifications such as CRCM, CCEP, or CAMS are an advantage.
Minimum [7-10] years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management, or regulatory roles, including leadership experience.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX, AML, HIPAA, or industry-specific).
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Proven experience in policy development and training programs.
