Job Description

Key areas of responsibility:

Perform compliance oversight, establishing and maintaining reports to relevant stakeholders. Conduct market surveillance reviews. On-Chain Transaction Screening and investigation. Off-chain Transaction monitoring from AML and CTF perspective. Coordinating with the compliance team and different departments on relevant matters. Assisting in all compliance and regulatory matters with local and international regulatory bodies. Preparing regular reports and strategic direction to senior management regarding compliance matters. Assisting in and undertaking the development of training materials and training programs.

Technical competencies and skills:

You hold a university degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of working experience in legal, compliance and/or AML in crypto, fintech, financial institution, law, or consulting firms. Proven Compliance and Market Surveillance experience. Familiar with FATF and GDPR requirements. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage own time and time of others to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines. Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Other key common competencies:

Ability to work under pressure; strong management and organizational skills; good judgment and decision making. Ability to work during production environment maintenance hours outside of normal business hours. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, and passionate about growing a business in a team environment and with a proven ability to drive improvement efforts. Self-starter that takes ownership and accountability for assigned work. Ability to establish positive, effective working relationships at all levels. Great attention to detail and documentation.
