Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious
Compactor Operator
to operate heavy compaction equipment used in construction, roadwork, and site preparation projects. The operator is responsible for compacting soil, asphalt, and other materials to required density and specifications, ensuring a stable and level surface for ongoing work.Key Responsibilities:
Operate various types of compactors (smooth drum, padfoot, pneumatic, vibratory, etc.) to compact earth, gravel, and asphalt on construction sites. Inspect equipment daily and perform basic preventative maintenance (checking oil, fuel, tires, hydraulics, etc.). Follow compaction procedures to meet density requirements per engineering specifications. Work from instructions provided by supervisors, job plans, and blueprints. Ensure proper rolling patterns and overlap coverage for uniform compaction. Maintain awareness of surroundings and avoid hazards such as underground utilities or other workers. Keep equipment clean and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Assist with general site duties when not operating machinery.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
