Job purpose The Communications Manager will be working closely with the MENAT Communications lead, to execute internal and external communications strategy and plans across the region, with a focus on implementation across the countries. The position will be responsible for driving execution and implementation of the overarching communications strategy for the region, across all MENAT countries. The communication function has a central role to work across functions and countries to support profiling Organon externally and internally. This Role will provide communications support for key external events (panels, presentations, media engagement, etc.) and internal events (Town Halls, webcasts, etc.). This role will also be responsible to create, drive and execute internal communications plans, such as video messages, blogs, internal communication channels, as well as external social media activities supporting countries business activities and disease awareness campaigns. (Responsible for):
Supporting countries to execute external and internal communications plans
Research and write speeches and scripts for internal and external engagements
Support MENAT Media Engagement by preparing talking points and core response documents.
Unifying the messages and focus across countries in MENAT and in line with the global approach
Develop and Implement MENAT Social Media Strategy to engage with internal and external audiences
support in building the internal culture across the region by creating initiatives and support employees’ groups in multiple internal initiatives and events.
Support Communication MENAT Lead, to execute and implement the communication strategies
Develop and implement strategies for increasing media engagement across region and within priority countries.
Obtain internal approvals via multiple internal systems.
Organize media roundtables across key therapeutic areas
Work closely with regional agencies on daily basis and local agencies on project bases.
Support Countries involvement in major congresses and organize media seminars
General Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day activities related to internal and external communications
Content creation including media materials, social media content, internal and external speeches, etc.
Act as a guard for the corporate branding for internal and external activities.
Ensure adherence to standard regional and global communications practices for media relations, employee communications, reputation management, compliance, and issues management
Communicate consistently and seamlessly across multiple languages, countries, divisions, and functions to ensure that employees understand corporate goals and strategy
Drive the adoption of best practices and standard communications processes in the countries
Collaborate with regional and country-based communications colleagues to help drive communications objectives
Qualification & Experience:
Communication or Public Relations and Media Degree
Preferably with a previous multinational Agency experience
Minimum experience in communications field for 5-7 years.
Media Relations and building creative content (Videos, vlogs, podcasts, etc.) is preferred
Arabic and English writing and editorial skills is a must, French and Turkish language is a plus.
Events managements and logistics experience is a must.
