In collaboration with the Head of marketing and communications, you lead the development & implementation of the UAE communication strategy for Cartier. As referent in the team, you act as the guardian of the local relevancy of all our local communication activations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY & BUDGET
  • Participate in defining the Communication strategy and action Plan in line with regional / international guidelines, inclusive of event, boutique network animation, product animation, local branding and corporate activation.
  • Identify strategic priorities for the UAE market, define and articulate the objectives, team responsibilities, timescale, holistic activations and KPI for successful project execution.
  • Manage and monitor the communication budget (Media, PR)

PAID MEDIA ACTIVATION
  • Collaborate with Regional team to build a local media Strategy, give recommendations based on local commercial context, audiences, marketing objectives, address critical issues, and ensure local implementation move forward smoothly.
  • Build post-campaign reports to ensure optimal success as measured by standard digital KPIs (CTR, CPM, CPCs).

EARNED MEDIA ACTIVATION
  • Develop the global PR strategy for the UAE (Commercial, Corporate stories)
  • Identify the right influencers / Celebrities for the UAE market, connect and nourish the long-term relationship.
  • Develop innovative native and editorial partnership with Key media partners

LOCAL BRANDING
  • As part of the UAE Communication team, you are accountable for the local relevancy of all our communication activations. To achieve your objectives, you are involved in the development of creative briefs in collaboration with the Region / HQ.
  • As the local referent, you share market insights with Region and HQ teams.

TRANSVERSAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Manage all the process and ensure the proper functioning of the collaboration with Region / Head Quarter / Local teams by making exchanges more fluid between all the teams.
  • Establish an action plan Global and for each project and ensure approval by your managers. You will be responsible for all the dedicated project budgets, quality and timeline.
  • Share all the local and regional initiatives with the UAE team,

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Minimum 6-years’ experience in Communication in an agency or client working on brand identity problematic.
  • You are considered as an expert within the field and are used to work in an international environment.
  • Curious, you have a strong general and artistic culture and understand the luxury industry.
  • Arabic speaker and strong knowledge of the UAE Market (way of life, business and local specificities), UAE digital trends (Media, Talents…) UAE artistic context (talents: photographer / director…).
  • Autonomous and organized, you are able to adapt easily to a fast-paced environment, innovate and follow a constant move.
  • In addition to that, you are known for your professional rigor and ability to prioritize projects.
