Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for a Commissioning Lead Planner to join our Duqm Refinery Project Team

Leads and coordinate all Planning for commissioning related activities in support to Manager, Commissioning and in conformance with company policies and procedures, contracts, plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates at the Refinery under Refinery Project Director scope's through:

+ Leading Systems prioritization planning from pre - commissioning onwards

+ Lead Unit commissioning and start - up sequence planning up to Level 5 or level 6 (activity based)

+ Lead Integrated commissioning and start - up planning as per start up arrow diagrams

+ Coordinate and deliver Progress of Completions (ITR's, Punch, Dossiers, PSSR's, Regulatory Permits, etc) tracking from commissioning onwards

+ Lead Network commissioning planning on systems and interface basis using skyline representation

+ Lead C&SU integrated resource planning (includes vendors and licensors), and

+ Prepare and deliver Monthly Management Report slide packs issuance using EPC consolidated data on progress; in order to support Commissioning schedule & meet or exceed all project commissioning objectives

+ BSc in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent Engineering Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering is desirable

+ A minimum range of +10 years total engineering experience developing Plans for Commissioning of refining or petrochemical or oil & gas facilities, or for the Turnaround of Refinery or Petrochemical Plants Out of which, at least 5 years in project management

+ PMC experience desirable

+ Strong FEED / Design / Home office experience highly desirable to assist with the early stages of the project

+ Experienced as a Leader in Major Greenfield refinery Projects

+ Experienced in the implementation of industry best practices and Company's systems, processes and standards

+ Proven ability to apply sound judgment and analytical skills due to the complex and diversified nature of the position

+ Extensive skills in management and leadership, team building, effective communication, conflict resolution and presentations
