Job Description

Job Overview: Develop, coordinate and control pre-commissioning activities on his/her discipline. Reports to Commissioning Manager. Liase with Lead Qc Inspetors; Discipline Engineer; Project Planner; Safety Advisor; Client. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Development of level 3 Pre-comissioning/Commissioning schedule in cojunction with project Precom/Comm. Coordinator. Identification of resources necessary (including but not limited to personnel, equipment, materials, apares and consumables). Identification and coordination of vendor assistance during commissioning. Identification and coordination of hiring of specialized test equipment. Identification and coordination of subcontractor needed to perform specialized activities i.e leak testing, chemical cleaning, torquing/tensioning, hydraulic system flushing, etc. Preparation of assigned functional test procedures. preparation of equipment list that require preservation. Clearing and managing discipline punchlist. Coorination of discipline pre-commissioning activities in the yard and offshore. Issue progress report. Manage interface with subcontractor with regards to discipline pre-commissioning/commissioning activities. Essential Qualifications and Education: Minimum of 3 years in performing construction on offshore oil and gas platforms. Preferred Qualifications and Education: Experience: 3+ years experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil and gas related installation for both onshore and offshore. Education: Degree in Electrical, Instrument and Mechanical Engineering.
