We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis III - Pastry to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our pastry department, you will assist in creating exquisite desserts and pastries that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.

Prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards Assist the Pastry Chef in developing new dessert concepts and menu items Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Maintain a clean and organized work station Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of desserts Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies Participate in team briefings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge Assist in plating and presenting desserts for service Support the pastry team during high-volume periods and special events


Qualifications

Culinary degree or diploma with a focus on pastry arts 2-3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen Strong knowledge of pastry preparation techniques and baking skills Proficiency in creating a variety of desserts and pastries Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative desserts Effective time management and organizational skills Team player with good communication abilities Food safety certification Knowledge of different pastry styles and techniques Understanding of ingredient interactions and baking chemistry Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
