We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Commis I - Bakery to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an entry-level baker, you will assist in the preparation of a wide range of baked goods while learning from experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts Measure and weigh ingredients accurately following recipes and instructions Operate and maintain bakery equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times Support senior bakers in daily operations and special projects Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist in inventory management and stock rotation Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of bakery orders Participate in ongoing training to improve baking skills and knowledge

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school training or certificate preferred Food handler's certification required Basic knowledge of baking techniques and principles Familiarity with bakery equipment and tools Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely Excellent time management and organizational skills Basic math skills for measuring and scaling ingredients Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Good communication and teamwork skills Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Previous kitchen or bakery experience is a plus
