Job Description
We are looking for Bakery and Pastry Man to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a wide range of baked goods and pastries, and ensuring that they are of high quality and meet the standards of our bakery. Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of baked goods and pastries, including breads, cakes, cookies, pies, and other specialty items
- Develop new recipes and modify existing ones as needed
- Ensure that all products are of high quality and meet the standards of the bakery
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and baking area
- Follow all safety and health regulations and ensure that staff are doing the same
- Thorough knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients, including specialty diets such as gluten-free and vegan
- Strong artistic and creative skills for decorating and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary arts degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
