Commis I is responsible to prepare all ingredients and basic mise-en-place and assist the chefs in various section of kitchen as instructed by supervisor in preparing all the dishes related to the restaurant outlet.

is executed satisfactorily when:
All rules & regulations are strictly adhered within the company including internal policy, essential food, health, and safety as well as hygiene regulations including HACCP and Dubai Municipality/Food Watch compliance.
Perform cooking, cleaning, delivery, receiving, and other support duties as instructed and ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly.
Experience
2 years minimum in a five-star hotel or chain of restaurants.
Previous Restaurant Experience, Extensive Food and Beverage Knowledge and Restaurant Industry Knowledge
Solid Culinary Basics & Techniques
Basic Food Safety Certification
High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
Personal Characteristics & Skills
Working with multi-cultural teams.
Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management to their understanding.
