- Preparing and cooking food as per the standards of the preparation, taste and presentation based on the menu.
- Ensuring availability of mise en place as required.
- Check that all cooked and pre-cooked foods are properly stored.
- Liaising with Restaurant employees regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes.
- Keeping all working areas clean and tidy. Ensuring all equipment is maintained and cleaned as per the HACCP Implementation.
- Being familiar with other areas in the Kitchen so when called upon, assistance can be provided.
- Having relevant experience in hospitality industry to make Western a la carte menu.
- Having hotel education background will be an advantage.
