Assist in the preparation, cutting, trimming, and portioning of meats and poultry according to kitchen standards.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of meat products.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the butchery area in compliance with food safety standards.
Support the kitchen team with daily mise en place and production needs.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues.
Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a butchery or kitchen environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of meat cuts and handling techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Good English communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and long hours on foot.
