Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and other bakery items according to recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of desserts, chocolates, and specialty bakery items.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients and finished products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and pastry workstations.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist in inventory control, including checking ingredients and notifying the chef of shortages.
Support senior pastry chefs in creating new menu items and seasonal specialties.
Adhere to portion control, quality, and presentation standards for all products.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Pastry Chef or Sous Chef
Working Conditions:
Shift-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
Physically demanding work including standing for long periods and handling hot equipment.
