We are hiring a capable and detail-oriented

Commercial QS

to handle functions in our civil contracting operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, vendor management, and procurement coordination to support smooth execution of construction projects.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field in a similar function

Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE construction industry with Strong knowledge and familiarity with the construction process Procurement operations for high?end residential villa construction. Collaborate closely with project teams, site engineers, architects, project managers to ensure timely sourcing, ordering, and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and services, all while balancing cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with the standards Familiarity with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Procore), along with strong MS Office (Excel, Word) abilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and specifications to identify procurement requirements for villa construction. Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers of building materials, MEP systems, fit?out components, and subcontractors, especially with familiarity in the luxury villa segment. Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs; evaluate bids to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings while safeguarding quality standards. Generate purchase orders; issue contracts; maintain meticulous procurement logs. Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and UAE regulations. Coordinate deliveries with logistics, site teams, and internal departments to align procurement schedules with construction milestones. Monitor and resolve issues like delays or non?conformance. Continuously assess supplier performance, conduct market research to track pricing trends and new suppliers, and bring forward value engineering and cost control initiatives
