Key Responsibilities:Contract Management:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and obligations. Maintain accurate records of all contractual correspondences, variations, and amendments. Monitor contract performance to identify potential risks, variations, or disputes early. Support project managers in contract interpretation and implementation. Pre Contract Stage- Preparation of tender documents including all bill of quantities specifications and particular conditions for proposed construction works. Post Contract Stage- reviewing valuation of variations in accordance with the contract.

Risk and Compliance:

Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to contracts and claims. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures. Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and potential exposures.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in contract administration and claims management (construction, engineering, or infrastructure sector preferred). Strong understanding of standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JCT). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and contract management tools. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Certifications:

MRICS, MCIArb, PMP, or equivalent professional certification. Training in construction law or contract management (an advantage).
