With a strong commitment to quality and safety, they are seeking a dynamic individual to lead their QS team and drive excellence across all projects. Role Overview: As the Vice President of Quality and Safety, you will play a pivotal role in pre and post:contract activities, ensuring adherence to specifications, budget integrity, and contractual compliance. Reporting to the VP Commercial, you will oversee QS personnel, manage project activities, and streamline processes to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities: * Validate specifications and quantities in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) pre:contract. * Finalise contracts, manage cost reports, and ensure timely payments post:contract. * Coordinate with departments, standardise requests, and handle various project:related tasks. * Supervise QS personnel, guide their activities, and address critical matters promptly. * Provide feedback on contractor claims, ensure procedural compliance, and assist in other duties as required. Requirements: * Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying. * 18:20 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE. * Strong technical skills in Quantity Surveying and Contracts, with familiarity in FIDIC contracts. * Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership abilities.
