Job Description

As Commercial Director, you will take the lead of a small commercial team, overseeing all pre- and post-contract cost consultancy services across multiple projects. Acting as the single point of contact between client and office, you will manage high-level cost estimates, detailed pre-tender estimates, value engineering, and post-contract services.
This senior role requires an individual with extensive experience in commercial management, excellent stakeholder management skills, and strong knowledge of the regional market. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in managing large-scale schemes with multiple stakeholders while ensuring commercial excellence at every stage.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial activities across pre- and post-contract stages.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Implement best practices in cost estimation, procurement, and commercial management.
• Attend and contribute to senior management and site-based meetings.
• Oversee and support budget reviews and approvals.
• Review and approve all monthly and quarterly project reporting.
• Provide accurate feedback on value engineering and rate analysis.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial team across projects.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• RICS membership (essential).
• Minimum of 20 years' professional experience in commercial management.
• Previous involvement in NEOM projects/procedures is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable experience working on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to justify commercial decisions clearly.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary up to AED 50,000 per month (depending on experience).
