Commercial Specialist

What you will be doing:

You will be monitoring the costs, tracking all expenses to the project Documenting detailed records of all expenditures Develop and manage the project budget, forecasting potential costs and setting financial targets Communicate with clients to explain the invoices and address any questions or concerns they may have. Collaborate with the contractor and the client to prepare a detailed baseline budget Prepare for audits by maintaining comprehensive records and ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements Forecast future costs and financial outcomes, helping stakeholders make informed decisions Generate regular financial reports that provide insights into the project's financial status

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Degree in Quantity Surveying from an accredited internationally recognized university Must have strong command and previous experience in contracts administration of cost plus contracts in large portfolio Should have managerial skills and a strong command to direct, manage, and supervise the audit team to check/audit the contractor's commercial records and financial system Have a minimum of 10 postgraduate years of experience in large scale infrastructure and building projects Qualified professional who can manage and coordinate specialized activity, discipline or team of moderate size and complexity Should be able to communicate well in English
