Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Commercial Advisor role to be based at our office in Abu Dhabi.

At a high level, the job objectives are, under limited supervision; Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract) Commercialisation of a sub-Business Group service offerings to support business growth and strategy Developing team members with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned business Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-Business Group / Project / Portfolio of Projects Supporting the tender governance process for the sub-Business Group Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Promote and demonstrate safety leadership behaviors Always act ethically and with the utmost integrity Champion and promote the application of the Financial Management Framework guidelines Champion and follow the relevant DOA and commercial / contracting policies Leads the management of: Pre-award activities including support to the proposals team in terms of performing a commercial review of tender documents, reviewing commercial proposals prior to submission for internal approval, preparing pricing and commercial qualification Defined activities within the Tender governance process The development of rates, estimates, pricing, and commercial models The administration of risk management processes pre and post contract The management and administration of Bonds / LoCs, Collateral warranties and PCGs The timely and accurate submission of contracting policy approval requests, in conjunction with the Contracts function Main contract administration, including correspondence management, management of change and the development/implementation of commercial strategies and profit improvement plans in accordance with client contracts and Woods policies and procedures The administrative maintenance of delegations of authority (DOA) and processing of DOA approvals The administrative development and maintenance of Commercial Handovers and Plans The preparation of project cashflow forecasts, expenditure, invoice preparation, and expediting of payments The preparation and analysis of inputs to key contract and internal project reporting requirements The preparation of main contract close-out requirements Assists and delivers under supervision The coordination of contract reviews and the development of qualifications/redlines in conjunction with the Contracts function Information/data gathering and analysis required to support Woods assertive claims and/or defending claims against Wood Working Relationships Internal: Commercial / Contracts, G&D, Finance, Tax & Treasury, Legal, Ethics and Compliance, ProjectManagement, Project Controls, Operations

External: Clients, Suppliers, External auditors

Level of Influence & Decision making Authority Functionally responsible for commercial personnel within Sub-BG / Project Team Accountable for governance and assurance of commercial policies and processes within assignedbusiness/project and commercial delivery on tenders/project (s) Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies, along with appropriate professional qualification (preferred) Knowledge, skills and experience: 2 -4 years experience in a similar role Good working knowledge and experience in commercial administration and procedures Experience in drafting and interpretation of commercial documentation Personal Attributes: Utmost integrity Demonstrates commitment to Wood and client core values Demonstrate commitment to Wood commercial processes and procedures Excellent communication skills, written, oral, and presentation Ability to work as part of a team and manage others Ability to prioritize key tasks and solve problems for the team Ability to present to senior management/leadership Ability to engage with key stakeholders Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Company Overview
