Job description Job title: Team leader- Collections Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month Responsibilities for collections team leader
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Support new initiatives and demonstrate capability to manage and lead continuous improvement projects
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead, coach and develop employees, ensuring a high level of employee commitment and capability through focused collection routines
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Be accountable for managing team efficiencies, ensuring efficiency targets are met
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Be responsible for team results, as measured through established quality service standards
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage direct reports by providing superior leadership and guidance related to collection activities
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Be a referral point for all Early Collections Low Risk staff and monitor quality trends by ensuring issues and escalations are addressed and the appropriate action is taken in a timely manner
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist with constructing an effective credit control management framework \xe2\x80\xa2 Allocates work assignments and establishes KPI and performance standards, metrics
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluates the quality, quantity of the individual/ team metrics on work being performed \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluates / assesses team member performance on a periodic and annual basis Qualifications for collections team leader
- \xe2\x80\xa2 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience into team management and handling collections \xe2\x80\xa2 Any Nationality can apply
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Background preferred from Banking, Retail, or Insurance industry
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide management to the assigned collections team members
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for the effective monitoring and management of the delinquency portfolio
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for the identification and referral of stressed accounts during the monitoring process
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for the maintenance, currency and adherence to Collections policies and procedures
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the collections department has a thorough understanding of the accounting and regulatory provisioning guidelines and calculations
- \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting obligations as defined by the Senior Management
