Job Description
We seek a Coffee Shop Manager with experience in management, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of successful sales. Responsibilities:
- Controls operations day-to-day by scheduling, ordering, and developing the team members.
- Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
- Controls profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
- Monitor budgets to ensure that the caf\xc3\xa9 remains profitable. Actively find ways to lower operational costs while expanding the customer base.
- Oversee scheduling of staff members and be able to quickly find replacements in the event of a staff member being sick or absent.
- Ensures that the company safety and security policies are being adhered to.
- Ensure quality of food and beverage presentation.
- Maintains fast, accurate service and positive guest relations and ensures products meet company quality standards.
- Work closely with customers to answer questions and listen to complaints regarding food quality and customer service before working to resolve those complaints promptly.
- Listen to customer preferences and make suggestions for menu items.
- Coordinate with the marketing department for best marketing and promotional activities.
- Prepare and analyze management reports
- Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment and services.
