Job Description

Job Purpose: Develop the portfolio of Skywards\' UAE and GCC co-brand partnerships to increase program engagement through financial transactions by identifying and driving the implementation of new types of partnership models, products and features. Manage relationship with the Network Provider (international card scheme brand) monitoring portfolio performance and coordinating allocation of assets for business development. Drive effectiveness of analytics, marketing and other activities and lead continuous improvement projects to increase revenue and member penetration. Job Outline: - Assess co-brand portfolio longitudinally for partner and product mix and work with network provider to develop annual initiative roadmap, leveraging market intelligence and data analytics. This will include collaborating with Co-brand Partnerships Managers to develop use cases for new concepts and offerings. - Assess the potential of new financial co-brand partnership models through primary and secondary research and through creating business cases (including financial analysis and forecasting), and plan implementation with the support of the Co-brand Partnerships Management team, in order to increase offerings and reach tailored member segments. - Recommend new types of products to Co-brand Partnerships Managers and support the review of existing products and CVP designs to improve alignment with the needs of the Skywards base at segment level. This will have an intent to bring strong differentiation and will include analysis and application of innovative product features. - Lead the annual allocation of assets and/or funds for marketing and other support to existing partners to drive growth towards goals. This will include budgeting and building annual joint calendar of activities with Co-brand Partnerships Managers and Partnerships Activation team which will then be detailed further on a quarterly basis. - Lead requirements setting and management of data analytics efforts to inform marketing decisions and other partner performance development opportunities. This will include coordinating data modelling and working with the Partnerships Activation team, Co-brand Partnerships Managers, as well as Legal and Marketing departments, to market financial products directly to Skywards members, defining new prospects for acquisitions and recommending promotion design. - Manage the delivery of all insights through the design and implementation of dashboards and other reports, with the support of the Network Provider and the Co-brand Partnerships Managers to enable effective performance monitoring at portfolio level against key metrics and targets. - Monitor performance and contractual obligations of network provider (incl. SLAs and payment commitments) and manage working relationship with relevant stakeholders. This will include holding governance meetings to review performance and reviewing risks, issues and other outstanding items to recommend corrective timely actions. - Participate in the development of the portfolio and product strategy for Skywards co-brand partnerships in the UAE and GCC by analysing the market, risks and opportunities, competition, and the portfolios performance, and recommending ways to refine approach and priorities. - Lead a support team to manage partnerships in remit, regular setting and reviewing of objectives, and supporting on a day-to-day basis their knowledge and performance development through feedback and by ensuring a clear understanding of their goals and contribution.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications: - Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Experience: - 5+ Years in Commercial/Sales Area or similar - Experience in either card portfolio and product management, international card scheme business development, or project management experience within financial industry with strong analytical component. Knowledge/skills: - Proven experience in product and portfolio management, preferably in payment products such as credit cards. - Excellent analytical skills, strong financial acumen and ability to build financial models and drive data analytics. - Good understanding of payment economics and grasp of overall financial industry. - Knowledge of marketing for above and below the line practices (incl. digital marketing). - Strong project management with demonstrated ability to deliver tangible results aligned to strategy. - Track record of driving results through cross-functional collaboration and very strong stakeholder management skill mix, including communication and ability to constructively challenge. - Critical and structured thinking with strong understanding of objectives and metrics and ability to build pipelines to meet these objectives.
