Our Technical Product Managers (TPM) apply technical knowledge to solve business problems. They are responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of all technology features aligned to the Products vision and roadmap. In addition, our TPMs drive execution through collaboration with multiple stakeholders and leading a team of Technical Product Owners (TPO) to understand, assess, and decompose prioritised initiatives into Technical Features within engineering team backlogs, with a focus upon MVP (Minimum Viable Product). The successful candidate will take responsibility for the end-to-end product roadmap, solution and feature backlog for our new Express logistics products. In addition this position requires someone with strong business acumen and a critical thinker with excellent communication skills who is comfortable leading product roadmap development and vision with business stakeholders, with a start-up mindset. What you will bring to the team: - Collaborating with TPOs, peer group TPMs, and other IT stakeholder groups, they contribute towards finalising future PIs, utilising business value, together with assessment of available capacity and indicative level of effort arising from the team landscape resulting in effectively sequenced and prioritised backlogs - Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and service management teams, to ensure the overall backlogs are balanced to ensure a scalable, user experience optimised, stable, and performant technology product, that continually meets business needs, ensuring NFRs (Non Functional Requirements) and System enablers are considered and captured, and cascaded to team backlogs - Varied levels of involvement across suite of Demos and Visual Release Notes including the participation in Sprint demos, at team level and assisting in the preparation of system demos, again at team level, per iteration and engaging in preparation and delivery of PI demo\'s to stakeholder group, via `Inspect and Adapt workshops and with an overall goal of driving increased use and adoption - Define methodology for the analysis and response to target metrics and value post PI delivery, including recommended improvements, for use during `Inspect and Adapt workshops, and with an overall goal of driving increased use and adoption - Build peer group TPM community, identifying and acting upon opportunities for L and D, growth and advancement, whilst support TPOs in the establishment of their community and identity, offering support and suggestions for their growth journey - Maintain the quality and integrity of features within their technical and team boundaries, ensuring identification and contribution of risks and dependencies, ensuring appropriate team backlogs reflect any impact. - Leading a team of TPOs through collaboration, delegation and empowerment to ensure effective delivery of our technology solutions - Driving the partnership with applicable product `vendors?, ensuring timely feature/product upgrades, maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the product. Minimise bespoke customisation, and influence business process changes to best utilise vendor supplied products. Specific to Revenue management and Skycargo: - Core working experience as a Product Manager in the door-to-door Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) Services industry. - Proven experience driving the evolution of end-to-end products and solutions across the entire CEP value chain \xe2\x80\x93 Digital Customer Engagement (B2B and B2C), Product and Service Management, Sales and Account Management, Offer and Order Management, Operations and Control Tower (spanning First-Mile, Mid-Mile, Line-Haul & Hub, Last-Mile), Finance and Accounting, Customer Service Management. - Technology experience across e-commerce fulfilment, customer and Ground services, end-to-end logistics and track-and-trace technologies. - A good technical product understanding and experience of integration patterns with the importance of data and system flows working with architecture to enable the solution. - Experience working directly with globally located vendor and inhouse solutions technical teams in design, delivery and innovation SDL lifecycle. - Experience of design thinking, Business Requirements Analysis and Solution Design, analytical techniques such as customer journey maps, process modelling and Converting complex concepts into simple English for technical teams to develop great products that deliver value outcomes
Qualifications & Experience: What You Will Bring To The Team: - Information Technology. Other : 8+ Years - Degree In a relevant domain e.g. Operations Research, Marketing, Science, Information Systems, e- Commerce. - Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Degree can be optional if strong experience in the following: - 3 to 5 years practical experience of working as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner, with proven record of driving discernible ideation, change and delivery at pace. - Whilst not essential, some experience of working within an Agile environment, across multiple initiatives and circa 50+ teams. Knowledge/skills: - Well-versed with the tools for the Technical Product Management aspects of software delivery. - Effectively builds and manages relationships with business stakeholders. Strong communicator at peer, line and stakeholder levels. - Ability to lead by example using evidence, information and data to empower people, is comfortable with change and ambiguity. - Stays up to date with regulatory and other changes in the technical area, and understands how they apply to the Emirates group. - Demonstrated technical or domain expertise, utilising a depth and breadth of knowledge and practical experience within the specific domains or technical areas.
