Job Description
Coating Quantity surveyor Coating Quantity surveyor shall possess the following qualification and experience: i. Experience working in an offshore oil and gas production environment for minimum 5 years ii. Extensive painting inspection background to understand the scope of work iii. Ability to read & understand specifications, engineering drawings, including ISOs, P&IDs, Plot Plans, Piping Plans and the like. iv. Should be well conversant with the Safety and PPE requirements of working in an Offshore Onshore environment. v. Ability to enter the inspection data into the required format, in a clear and concise manner with appropriate descriptions. vi. Ability to conduct pre-job site walk to identify work scope for the Coating Refurbishment team vii. Ability to cross check Painting Contractors measured quantities upon subsequent job award viii. Ability to identify Punch List items Certifications required for Coating Quantity surveyor: a. The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Or b. The Association of Cost Engineers (ACostE) c. Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) (a plus) d. Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) (a plus) Painting Certification for Coating Quantity surveyor.
