QC Inspector - Coating

Qualification & Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-year experience in Welding and Painting Inspection related to Oil & Gas projects in Middle East. Previous experiance in shipping or Oil/Gas Client. Certified Painting inspection qualification (NACE L-1).

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily welding inspections and coordinate with Client representative during site visit. Prepare and schedule NDT request including PWHT. Establish Inspection and Test plan (ITP), with respect to project Standards and Specifications. Supervision of QA/QC activities related to Pipelines/Piping and Hydro testing / Pneumatic Testing of erected spools. Carryout mechanical and QC clearance of hydro test packages. Preparation of final documents for the Project completion Dossier. Check visual inspection of coating as per project standards /specifications and Inspection test plan (ITP). Coordinate for final inspection of coating and holiday testing. Carry out inspection for factory applied coating 3-layer polyethylene coating (3LPE/2LFBE)Language skills: Working knowledge of English languages. Knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage. Very good knowledge in technical terms and report writing skills

Technical competencies:

Knowledge of coating inspection testing techniques, standards and HVAC & mechanical drawing.

Diploma/Degree

Should be conversant with applicable inspection, testing techniques and standards

Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building yard

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
