SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Coating Advisor, you will be providing professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer\xe2\x80\x99s satisfaction.

This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Technical Sales Support Manager.

Responsibilities:

Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint application by working on site with relevant client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectation.
Carry out inspections of specific projects assigned to you by your direct manager by working independently, following the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and working procedures in order ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification.
Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.

Qualifications:
- Preferably a Coating Advisor who has both marine and protective experience. Offshore experience is preferred.
- Certification in NACE level II or FROSIO Level III as a minimum qualification.
