CNC Programmer

Sunreef Yachts, a world leader in the production of luxury catamarans, is looking for an experienced and dedicated CNC Programmer with experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills. You will develop new CNC programs for production runs or modify existing programs for different machines. During the manufacturing process, you will perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary. You will also work with the engineers to look for product modifications that might reduce the amount of material or fabrication time. Although no formal education is required, applicants should be familiar with the computer-aided design programs Autodesk Power-Mill and basic Experience on AutoCAD, Any 3D Modelling Software .

CNC Programmer Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to

Develop CNC programs for production runs

Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates

Modify existing programs for different machines

Maintain tooling database

Make manual program adjustments as necessary

Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process

Requirements and Qualifications

High School diploma or Engineering certificate.

Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus

Experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills

Familiarity with Autodesk Powermill with Basic Knowledge of AutoCAD and Any 3D Modelling Software.

Basic math skills
