JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling & turning.
Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
Load and unload raw materials and equipment.
Record all machine related actions by completing production and quality logs, keeping detailed records for equipment and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
Trade School Accreditation/High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
Abide by company safety guidelines.
Work productively and efficiently.
Maintain housekeeping and 5S under the area of responsibility.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience as a CNC Milling machine operator or CNC Machinist in Machining /Manufacturing Industry, preferably in Aerospace machining company.
Proven experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
