Requirements: Experience in Joinery company Minimum experience of 5 years in preparing software for CNC Can join immediately RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling grinding milling etc Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints mechanical drawings etc Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly May produce timber for panelling, floorboards, kitchen counters, bars, banisters, skirting boards, window and door frames, and more. Sets up and operates variety of woodworking machines to surface, cut, and shape lumber, and to fabricate parts for wood products, such as doors, door and window frames, furniture, and sashes, according to specifications: Selects, installs, and adjusts saw blades, cutterheads, boring bits, and sanding belts in respective machines, using handtools and rule. Starts machine and makes trial cut. Operates machines to saw. Periodically verifies dimensions of parts for adherence to specifications, using gauges and templates. May assemble fabricated parts to make millwork products, such as doors, sashes, and door and window frames. May sharpen machine cutting heads, using handtools and grinder. Job Type: Full-time
