Position: CNC Machinist

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements. o Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining.
• Reports all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor and/or lead personnel.
• Communicate with supervisor, quality and other shop personnel for assignments to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
• Will also adhere to Safety and Environmental policies & regulations.
• Understanding of ISO/API requirements and follow procedures assigned to your position.
• Other Assigned Duties as required.

Education & Training

• Minimum Requirements - ITI / Diploma in relevant trade / Graduate of High School or GED.
• Ideal candidates shall have some CNC Lathes and/VMC or Mills operation experience. If there is no experience, shall have understanding of manufacturing processes.

Knowledge & Experience

• 02 - 03 years of working experience in manufacturing industry preferably in oil and gas products or equivalent. Experience operating machinery. Mechanically inclined.
• Knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, and indicators.
• Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with some understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.
• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
• Ability to run multiple machines independently or in a team environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and parts books. Ability to maintain multiple priorities and attention to details.

Salary AED 5000-6000 ( all in) + standard Benefits as per UAE law
