Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare CAD drawings using AutoCAD or similar software for CNC manufacturing.
- Convert CAD models into CNC programs (G-code) using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM)
- set up and operate CNC machines ( mills, lathes, routes, etc.) according to blueprints and technical specifications.
- read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and part specifications.
- optimize CNC programs for efficiency, quality, and tool life.
- perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
- inspect finished parts of using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
