Tactical responsibility for the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems that support getting the materials with right and legal procedures according to SC requirements
Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
Ensure implementing communication network with all available supplier to get the requested item within the best 'time, quality & price'
Manage current procurement policies, procedures to meet with SC requirements and governmental procedures
Process purchase orders, and reconcile any invoice discrepancies.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Your experience and skills include:
Previous working experience as a Cluster Procurement Manager for a minimum of six years
Ability to analyse and develop accurate conclusions to support Procurement
An understanding of the market and consumer insights and trends. Familiarity of the Qatar market is highly preferrable
Strong people management and persuasion skills to manage and influence at all levels of the company
An analytical mindset with strategic ability
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good understanding of numeracy
Hands-on experience with analyzing big data and making forecasts
Analytical and critical thinker
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
BSc/BA in business administration, marketing or related field. BA in business administration, marketing or similar relevant field preferable
Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
Ability to develop and build relationships and utilize skills appropriately
Ability to process information and process through computer system
Ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards as they apply to work force
Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
