We\'re actively seeking an exceptionally qualified and skilled Director of Engineering in a Cluster role to join the team of an award-winning lifestyle hotel brand in the UAE.

Main Purpose

• The role will provide strategic direction and operational leadership in engineering and maintenance functions of all the Hotels under its brand.
• Oversee all engineering operations and contribute to the growth and success of the Group.
• The role\'s expertise and leadership will ensure highest standards of safety, functionality, and efficiency while driving innovation and cost-effective practices.
• They will play a crucial role in shaping the company\'s engineering strategies and processes, helping to establish the brand as a leader in the hospitality industry.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in engineering and facilities maintenance mainly in the hospitality industry.
• Experience in managing engineering operations for hotel properties or large-scale projects of Hospitality.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, building systems, and technical operations related to the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and energy management systems is essential.
• Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with engineering software and tools relevant to the field.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans aligned with business objectives.
• Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to engineering and maintenance.
• Knowledge of international regulations for expansion into new markets is advantageous.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient solutions is beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
