Job Description
VMWare Cloud Architect/Engineer
Minimum 6 to 7 years of VMware hands on experience ( VMWare certified) handling large enterprise environment hosting applications based on MYSQL, JAVA, Windows and Linux
- Experience with consulting methods and approaches for conducting assessment, strategy, architecture TCO/ROI services
- Proficiency in Software Defined Compute/Storage (HCI vSAN)
- In-depth on SDDC (Software Defined Data Centre) and
- Good understanding of vSphere Security and Operations
- Good understanding of NSX-T or NSX-V; and VROPS
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to effectively interact with cross-domain project teams / support teams
- Ability to provide consulting service
- Develop a point of view, capture, prioritize and analyse technical (functional and non-functional) requirements
- Key technical skills: Managed, and Installed: ESXI hosts, vSphere, vCenter, vSphere Networking, SDDC life cycle management, vSphere Cluster Management, Performance and Capacity Management
- Additional skills would be value added - VRA, vCloud Director and scripting
- Familiarity with, and demonstrated understanding of enterprise's business and technical architecture
