We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security and experience in assessing cloud architectures, creating detailed reports, and delivering presentations to stakeholders. This role requires excellent technical and communication skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth assessments of customers cloud architectures, identifying security risks and vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate security controls to mitigate them
- Create comprehensive reports detailing the findings of cloud security assessments, including risk ratings, potential impact, and recommended remediation strategies
- Present assessment findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner, adapting to the audience\'s technical knowledge
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Lead in design and implementation of secure cloud infrastructure solutions, working closely with customers development and operations teams
- Continuously monitor and analyze cloud environments for potential security threats, proactively taking action to address them
- Stay current with emerging cloud security technologies, trends, and best practices, sharing this knowledge with the team to help drive continuous improvement
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts related to cloud security incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud security, preferably with hands-on experience in assessing cloud architectures and delivering presentations
- Active technical certifications on AWS & Azure (along with GCP and OCI will have value for shortlisting)
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and their associated security best practices is a must
- Knowledge of cloud security standards and frameworks, such as NIST, CSA, and CIS
- Knowledge on Containerization, Orchestration and API security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and remediate complex security issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
