Experience in provisioning, operations, and management of Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP) environments Mid and Senior-Level Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the implementation of the Enterprise Service Monitoring Strategy by ensuring the alignment of Business, infrastructure and Application Monitoring KPIs.
• Support the design, implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Monitoring systems used to monitor infrastructure and applications.
• Act as a Enterprise Service Monitoring lead to resolve complex technical issues to improve system availability, resiliency, and performance.
• Review deployment and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack and expand monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborate and work closely with other technology teams including application development, IT infrastructure and network engineering to troubleshoot and solve problems using monitoring tools.
• Provide SME support to engineer monitoring solutions operations, policies, and procedures to drive proactive alerts and notifications that contribute in identifying and implementing automation for day to day operations to improve resiliency and efficiency.
• Increase the operational stability and efficiency of Enterprise Monitoring platforms.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional teams to understand complex application architectures in order to develop and implement an effective top-down monitoring strategy for holistic service visibility.
• Collaborate with Service Operations team to support a cohesive and consistent visibility strategy and incident response process across the enterprise.
• Help application owners and business with insightful dashboards that provides high business value

Essential skills and experience:

• Ability to design and orchestrate complex Observability requirements spanned across Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP), Azure using cloud native services and specialised Observability tools like Splunk & AppDynamics
• Deep understanding of Metrics, Logs and Traces and their influence over application health and performance
• Hands-on experience with Observability & Enterprise Service health and performance Monitoring with Splunk IT Service Intelligence & AppDynamics
• Exceptional knowledge in systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (using AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus etc.)
• Ability to tell story with business and application performance data using tools like Splunk SPLs, data visualisation frameworks by creating insightful dashboards
• Experience of implementing Service Operations tooling, particularly in the domain of service monitoring and process automation
• Deep scripting skills in Shell (Bash), Python, Go (Golang)
• Deep understanding of container management solutions - Kubernetes / Docker / Openshift / EKS / AKS
• Essential Public cloud services: (AWS/AZURE/GCP) Lambda, Cloudwatch, Kinesis, public cloud monitoring
• Experience with infrastructure configuration and automations processes and tools: Terraform, Ansible.
