Job Description

The Cloud Engineer is responsible to design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure and scalable cloud infrastructure that supports the smart technologies, building automation systems, digital services, and data management functions of the private estate. The Cloud Engineer ensures seamless integration between cloud-based solutions and on-site systems to support estate operations, including security, communications, IoT devices, surveillance systems, and digital asset management, while ensuring reliability, privacy, and high availability.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or related field. Relevant certifications such as: - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / Administrator - AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certifications in network security, data privacy, or cloud governance (preferred). Knowledge of UAE data compliance regulations (e.g., NESA, ADHICS, etc.) is an asset.

EXPERIENCE

:

4-6 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or systems integration, ideally in facilities, hospitality, luxury estate, or secure residential environments. Proven experience deploying, managing, and securing cloud infrastructure in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience in hybrid environments integrating on-premise systems (e.g., BMS, CCTV, access control) with cloud services. Background in IoT, building technologies, or smart home integrations is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Designing and managing multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments for estate applications and systems. Setting up virtual machines, storage, networks, and firewalls tailored to estate needs. Automating infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Security & Compliance

Implementing cloud security policies, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and backup strategies. Ensuring secure data handling, privacy compliance, and disaster recovery planning. Monitoring for vulnerabilities and responding to incidents promptly.

System Integration & Support

Integrating cloud services with on-premise systems such as: - BMS (Building Management Systems) - Smart lighting, HVAC, and water control - CCTV and access control platforms - Smart home voice and touch control platforms (e.g., Alexa, Crestron) Providing ongoing troubleshooting, maintenance, and cloud support for estate IT systems.

DevOps & Automation

Managing CI/CD pipelines, system logs, and automated deployments. Scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks. Monitoring performance using tools like Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Collaboration & Documentation

Working closely with the IT team, security engineers, and estate technicians. Preparing technical documentation, compliance reports, and standard operating procedures. Communicating technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
