DeepLight is a high-growth AI consultancy building scalable, secure systems for enterprises across the Middle East -- including banks, insurers, and governments. We deliver end-to-end GenAI solutions, from advisory to deployment.
As a Cloud Engineer, you'll join our core engineering team to design and maintain the infrastructure powering our AI systems. You'll work with AI researchers, backend engineers, and DevOps to automate, scale, and secure mission-critical environments, which will be primarily in AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes.
You'll operate in fast-moving, cross-functional pods that sit at the core of client delivery, not behind the scenes. Your decisions will directly influence how GenAI systems are deployed, scaled, and maintained in production.
Requirements
4-6 years of experience in
cloud engineering
, with hands-on work inAWS
,Azure.
Strong command ofInfrastructure as Code
tools (Terraform, Pulumi) Experience managingDocker
containers and orchestrating withKubernetes
Ability to design scalable, highly available, and secure systems Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI) Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams Exposure toserverless architecture
(AWS Lambda, Azure Functions) Experience withAI/ML workloads
