Job Description

Teachdidactic lectures, clinical courses, and labs as needed.


Provide clinical supervision.


Assessstudent assignments and grade student performance.


Mentorand advise students.


Developcurriculum and programs.


Participatein faculty governance including serving on Departmental, College, and/or Universitycommittees.


Maintainan ongoing record of scholarly productivity including publications ininternationally recognized journals.


Fosterand participate in collaborative, interdisciplinary research teams in theCollege, QU Health Sector and across the University.



Qualifications
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from a reputable university.


Specialtycertification is preferred.


Activeregistered nurse license from home country or country of residency.


Eligibilityfor an educator license from Qatar's Department of Healthcare Professions(DHP), and to be obtained within six months of hiring.


Aminimum of 3 years clinical experience as a registered nurse.


Aminimum of 1 year of experience teaching in an undergraduate nursing program.


Evidenceof clinical experience and or teaching experience in the area of specialty.


Experience with competency-basedcurriculum is preferred.


Experience withnext generation NCLEX-RN exam is preferred.


Evidence ofresearch productivity in the area of specialization is preferred.

Academic:

Current Curriculum Vitae with Cover letter. Teaching, research, and service philosophy. Three referees' contact information (physical and email addresses as well their telephones contact). Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed. However, if no course work was completed, a copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree). Any additional documentation that you feel is relevant to your application.
