Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Designation: Clinical System Integration Architect Section/Department: IT Reporting to: IT Manager Purpose and Scope of the Job: Designs and implements functional and cost-efficient IT systems. Collaborates with departments and teams in the planning, design development, testing, training, and implementation of the related software systems to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiencies. Works closely with the departments, and co-workers to identify and solve problems and ensure the optimum operation of all related systems. Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards:
  • Five + years of experience developing and maintaining Cerner modules.
  • Helps internal staff and/or the company’s customers with problems related to their IT systems.
  • Analyzes and supports systems, including testing, training, implementation, and ongoing daily end-user support.
  • Leads Information Technologies in the overall information technology support, strategies, and service priorities that support a quality-focused environment and the financial objectives of the organization. Coordinates with Senior Leadership and physicians to assure continuity in pursuing Information Technology system goals and synergy in implementing plans and problem resolution.
  • Provides and participates in providing technology vision and direction for the enterprise
  • Manages user/customer expectations concerning support, responsiveness, and all levels of service
  • Facilitates and/or chairs appropriate committees to coordinate technology change management and/or activities
  • Supports the IT team in resolving issues and obstacles to incorporate the best solution in both strategic and day-to-day decisions to move projects and programs forward timely.
  • Assists with documenting changes required to correct problems or defects.
  • Identifies, documents communicates and assists with system problems and resolution for all Clinical and relevant systems.
  • Contributes to the revision of requirements, business rules, and engineering artifacts.
  • Assists in the coordination, or managing of the installation of system upgrades, patches, and other components.
  • Works to close reported issues on IT helpdesk tool as per required.
  • Provides advice and technical training.
  • Keeps abreast of technology trends and developments
  • Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) and HR best practices comply.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.

Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Experience: Five + years of experience developing and maintaining Cerner modules. Licensure: Not Applicable Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English Languages Computer Proficiency: Excellent computer skills
