Prepare and organize clinical areas (inclusive of waiting areas) for patient presence, consultations and procedures.
xc2xb7 Provide non-interventional assistance to licensed healthcare professionals during medical examinations and treatments (eg. chaperoning, consumable/room preparation and turn around)
xc2xb7 When trained and competent, perform basic patient care tasks, such as helping with mobility, bed making and personal hygiene, all at the instruction and supervision of the licensed healthcare professional.
xc2xb7 When trained and competent, ensure medical equipment is sterilized and cleaned and ready for use according to NMC Policy.
xc2xb7 Manage patient records, updating information and ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
xc2xb7 Schedule patient appointments and handle admissions/discharges, inclusive of follow up discharge phone calls
xc2xb7 Monitor inventory of medical supplies and restock as needed.
xc2xb7 Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families when required and following the instruction of the healthcare professional.
xc2xb7 Adhere to all safety, health, and infection control procedures.
xc2xb7 Speak up, if something isn't right.
xc2xb7 Maintain awareness of and comply with, the NMC Policies and Procedures
xc2xb7 Participate in all activities related to DOH/DHA/MOH/MOHAP and NMC Quality Improvement when required
xc2xb7 Understand Uphold the regulatory and accreditation standards and which of them apply to their daily working practice
xc2xb7 Support in the escort of patients within and between departments
xc2xb7 Transport patient specimens in accordance with NMC Policy.
xc2xb7 Strictly adhere to the regulator Scope of Practice.
xc2xb7 Escalate and raise concerns using the incident reporting system.

Qualifications:
Education and Certification
xc2xb7 High school diploma or equivalent (some employers may require additional certification or training)
Knowledge and Skills
xc2xb7 Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and healthcare practices.
xc2xb7 Ability to use medical equipment and understand safety protocols.
xc2xb7 Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
xc2xb7 Organizational skills for managing records and scheduling appointments.
xc2xb7 Attention to detail and the ability to follow clinical instructions accurately.
xc2xb7 Basic IT skills for handling medical software and patient databases.
xc2xb7 Physical stamina for assisting with patient care and clinical tasks.
Experience
xc2xb7 1 year experience in relevant role of healthcare experience in UAE will be an advantage
