We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong clinical background to join our Medical Education Department as a Clinical Skills Instructor. The successful candidate will support the teaching of clinical and communication skills to undergraduate medical students, with a focus on practical skills training and simulation-based education. This position involves active engagement in the day-to-day operations of the Simulation Center and collaboration with the broader medical education team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the education of future healthcare professionals in a vibrant academic setting. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: o Deliver and facilitate hands-on clinical skills and communication training sessions for medical students. o Teach core clinical competencies such as patient safety, infection control, vital signs assessment, and basic patient care techniques. o Teach communication, patient advocacy, and bedside manners across all student levels, supporting the development of holistic care practices. o Promote interprofessional collaboration by integrating nursing perspectives into clinical skills education, preparing senior students for team-based healthcare environments. o Supports students' professional identity formation, emphasizing patient-centered care values and ethical practice throughout their education. o Support the planning and implementation of simulation-based learning, including scenario-based activities and OSCEs. o Assist in the preparation, setup, and maintenance of clinical skills labs and simulation equipment. o Participate in the development of teaching materials, assessments, and student evaluation tools. o Collaborate with faculty and the medical education team to ensure high-quality teaching delivery. o Provide guidance and mentorship to students during practical training sessions. o Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives. o Engage in professional development and ongoing training in medical education best practices.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN or equivalent) and Masters' Degree in health-related subject or medical education o Licensed Registered Nurse (RN). o Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or academic health setting (less may be considered for UAE Nationals). o Interest or experience in teaching, skills training, or simulation-based education. o Strong command of English (written and spoken).

Experience teaching or training students or healthcare staff in clinical settings. o Familiarity with simulation-based education and clinical skills assessment tools. o Certification or training in health professions education or simulation (e.g., CHSE) is a plus. o Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. o Experience working with or managing simulation lab equipment and software. o Ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team environment. o Skilled in providing developmental feedback appropriate to the learner's stage, fostering continuous improvement in both technical and non-technical skills
