Assist control desk staff by providing clinical-related information to patients
Act as the patient's advocate throughout OPD appointments, from initial consultation to diagnosis and subsequent treatment
Complete required documentation and provide counseling, education, support, and advice to patients, families, and caregivers
Support quality and service improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery
Prepare patient files as required and book follow-up appointments in line with clinic and diagnostic availability
Educate patients and respond to queries related to triage, appointment timelines, and clinical decisions
Act as a liaison between doctors and patients for clinical information and clarifications
Promote multidisciplinary team collaboration and involve appropriate healthcare professionals in patient pathways
Counsel, educate, support, and advise patients and their families on treatment plans, care approaches, and lifestyle adaptations
Lead and contribute to specialty clinical audits and develop action plans based on findings
Provide direct clinical-information support to control desk staff
Continuously review service quality and develop improvement plans using evidence-based practices
Ensure appropriate clinic time allocation based on patient referrals
Utilize nursing qualifications and experience to develop and improve patient pathways and overall patient experience
Escalate care plans appropriately when required
