Job Description
The specialized pediatric immunology and allergy center (SPIA) in Doha is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced clinical nurse specialist (CNS) in pediatric allergy and immunology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading center in pediatric allergic and immunologic care, committed to excellence, innovation, and patient-centered service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver expert nursing care for children with allergic and immunologic conditions. Conduct allergy testing, skin prick test and patch testing. Conduct food challenges, including close monitoring of patients and recording of all vital signs. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and families. Educate families on allergy management, including initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation.
Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing with specialization as a clinical nurse specialist or advanced practice nurse. Valid QCHP nursing license or eligibility to obtain one in Qatar. Certification in pediatric nursing/allergy and immunology preferred. Minimum of 03-05 years of pediatric nursing experience with at least 02 years in allergy/immunology.
