As a Clinical Genetics Physician, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with genetic disorders. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and manage genetic conditions, as well as provide counseling and support to patients and their families. Additionally, you will play a key role in conducting research and contributing to the advancement of the field of clinical genetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with genetic disorders
- Order and interpret genetic tests and diagnostic procedures
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific genetic condition
- Provide genetic counseling and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients
- Contribute to research studies and publications in the field of clinical genetics
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Clinical Genetics
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Clinical Genetics Physician
- Strong knowledge of genetics and genetic disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for advocating for patients and their families
