Job Summary
The Clinic Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the overall administrative and clinical operations of the clinic. This individual will ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a strong healthcare background, exceptional decision-making skills, and a talent for driving operational excellence, optimizing workflows, and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management:

  • Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and leadership to all clinic staff, including administrative personnel, medical assistants, nurses, and other clinical staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing team culture.
  • Lead regular staff meetings, set clear performance expectations, and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development for all team members.
  • Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, in accordance with company policies.
Operational & Financial Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize clinic policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance productivity and quality of care.
  • Manage the clinic's budget, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Control operational costs, manage inventory of supplies and medications, and negotiate with vendors.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA.
Clinical Excellence & Patient Satisfaction:
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient care and service, ensuring a positive patient experience from check-in to discharge.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and physicians to address and resolve any concerns or complaints.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient satisfaction, clinical quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement patient satisfaction initiatives and lead continuous improvement efforts based on patient feedback.
Strategic Decision-Making & Administration:
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed, data-driven decisions that benefit the clinic and its patients.
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify trends, address challenges, and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with physicians, senior management, and other stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for clinic growth and development.
  • Manage the clinic's schedule and provider templates to maximize efficiency and access to care.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
  • Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare management or supervisory role within a clinical setting.
  • Required: Proven track record of exceptional leadership, team building, and staff development.
  • Required: Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management.
  • Required: Demonstrated expertise in making critical decisions under pressure and solving complex operational problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and accreditation standards.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and practice management software.
