The Membership & individual Giving Unit Head will be responsible for working with the Partnerships & development Section Head to establish the Zayed National Museum membership policy and strategy (including individual members), overseeing on-site, online and promotional campaign membership marketing, managing the membership acquisition and retention process, as well as inputting to the member journey map to convert transactional visitors to members to individual donors
Managerial Responsibilities
Support in the development and manage the implementation of the individual giving and membership strategy in order to reach agreed revenue targets and will secure funds to support the museum vision and mission.
Manage unit employees including recruitment & selection, identifying scope of work and accountability, setting goals, objectives and KPIs, performance management, mentoring coaching, and professional development
Develop the budget and business performance metrics & targets for the unit.
Responsibilities
Pre-Opening
Work with the Department Director and Section Head to develop the membership strategy and a comprehensive membership scheme for Zayed National Museum with categories at various levels of giving.
Develop an attractive member benefit package to recruit new members and retain existing members to Zayed National Museum.
Develop all membership marketing collateral content and work with marketing to ensure the design, print and production of on-site signage and recruitment brochures, and the development of membership fulfilment materials such as membership cards, welcome booklets, magazines, newsletters and renewal letters.
Recruit the membership & individual giving team members.
Ongoing
Work closely with the Partnership & Development Section Head to develop the medium and long-term plans for the membership and individual giving programmes ensuring alignment with the Museum\xe2\x80\x99s vision, mission and strategic objectives.
Lead the implementation of the membership and individual giving programme, including creating proposals & presentations, programme activation and evaluation.
Conduct local, regional and international benchmarking research to Identify best practice, trends, success stories and innovations in the loyalty, membership & individual giving field.
Define sand deliver membership marketing campaigns (awareness and offers), in collaboration with the marketing team, to effectively recruit new members in line with targets.
Analyse and evaluate the expectations of members and patrons to maintain loyalty and engagement.
Oversee the Membership and Individual Giving data in the museum CRM system and bear responsibility for maintaining up to date records of all membership programmes, and use it for data selection for campaigns and renewal information and reporting campaign effectiveness
Develop an effective retention programme with a renewal cycle and incentives to retain members
Advance the membership programs data roadmap and defines, proposes and implements memberships studies and surveys.
Manage all individual cultivation events in coordination with internal stakeholders, such as exhibitions previews and special membership events.
Develop and prepare monthly membership and individual reports for Section Head, Department Director, Museum Director and Finance, evaluating actual performance against targets and forecasts, for new member acquisition, member retention rates and revenue generation.
Establish partnerships with the different stakeholders in UAE.
Liaise and develop special packages with sales team and packaging team at DCT
Revisit the strategy every quarter to forecast better results and deals.
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience
At least 2 years of experience in a management role which includes leading & managing people
Experience in partnership projects that includes loyalty programs, ideally in a cultural environment.
Fluency in Arabic and English
Experience of designing and implementing commercial strategies and marketing campaigns across a variety of media including email, print, social media.
Experience of copywriting and editing; understanding of print production.
Proficiency in the use of databases and campaign management systems for campaign planning, execution and reporting.
Budget management experience

Required Education / Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related disciplines
