Main Duties / Responsibilities Compliant with BICS standards and procedures. Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Request stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position High school degree or equivalent Must understand and speak English and have working knowledge of Arabic Other languages, especially Arabic an advantage. Special Conditions BICS certified and trained is a plus. To wear the required uniform at all times and ensure it is clean and pressed and shoes polished To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene To report any misuse of equipment, any maintenance issues with equipment and to help maintain the safety of himself and others in the team Proven working experience as a janitor Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently What minimum experience is required for this position Must have two (2) years' experience in the same field Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Travel:
